It was suggested that I get the book Blogs – Wikis, and podcasts by Will Richardson. I have and we can share about it at our May 5 meeting.
Classroom Ideas were
Create a Wikki Framework for students to fill in for a project. I am going to implement this in the Video Game Design Final Project. Each Team is expected to keep a work journal so I am hoping that I can create one for each team of students.
Use of Tedxnyed.com to promote sharing of ideas. Right now I don’t see how to use it in my classroom but have sent an information request / idea to FIRST WA to see if they want to use it to promote FIRST.
Use of Adobe Connect was suggested to promote online meetings, I haven’t looked into this yet but will soon.
I am touching base with Karlene to come to my classes and teach about Linked In, maybe we could work together to get mine ready before we do it with the kids.
